My name is Jason Pepitone and I’m the owner/founder of Safeguard Inspection Services LLC. I’m a native of Ponchatoula, LA and a current resident of Metairie, LA since 2005. Astride my home inspection career, I’m currently a proud firefighter of nearly 13 years. I’m also a former deputy sheriff in Jefferson Parish, and a construction worker/consultant with SELA Construction LLC. I continue to collaborate with the SELA Construction LLC. team on an as needed basis, and consult with them on a regular basis.
With a background in residential construction as well as demolition, a keen eye for detail, and an entrepreneurial spirit, I began my journey to becoming a licensed home inspector in Louisiana. I made short work of the tasks at hand and completed all of my education and licensing requirements on September of 2013. After a brief stint as a new inspector, I was taken under the wing of one of Southeast Louisiana’s most trusted and reputable inspection companies, Axelrad & Associates. Tom, the founder/owner, and the Axelrad & Associates team would go on to teach me nearly all I know about inspection practices both modern and historic. After 9 great years with the company and thousands of inspections under my belt, I decided it was time to branch out and begin to build my own legacy. I’m extremely excited and can’t wait to be your home inspector.
